It is simply amazing how accustomed we have become to mediocre or poor service. As a society, we have come to expect lackluster service and are surprised when we find someone who cares enough to make their job worthwhile! Last week I called the Secretary of State's office to get a general question answered and was greeted by Heather. She was truly a breath of fresh air and at the end of our call I thanked her for her cheerful professionalism- she said that she wanted the person on the other end of the line to feel like she cared: Mission Accomplished Heather Smile

As part of our first day of training at TMC, we have our new staff members read The Simple Truths of Service. One of our employees shared this with me after reading it:

Simple Truths of Service opened my eyes to how I had limited my view of being 'of service' . In the past, I never viewed my job as a way to be 'of service' to anyone but my boss or company. I would cut to the chase, resolve the problem at hand and then move on to the next task. It is the simple truth that each interaction is either being 'of service' or it is a missed opportunity. I will strive to be more mindful of my actions and focus on the customer's needs rather than just completing a task or answering a question. I now see the vast difference between the two and love that TMC is a place where long standing relationships are being created every day.

WOW! Excellent Service does make a difference and that is our focus at TMC! Making sure that our referral partners and merchants are fully aware of the fact that we care about them and the success of their business is a top priority for our team! I hope you are enjoying this wonderful fall weather! Cheri
