Gone Fishing!
When I started TMC 25+ years ago, I had no idea where we would end up but I did know that we would be successful. Cheri and I enjoy working together and our strengths complement each other. You will never find me on a stage or speaking in front of a group (willingly) but I do enjoy the building aspect of business and finding ways to make things better. I guess you could say my passion is supporting my crazy bride!
Our business has caused me to grow outside of my comfort zone and I am very proud of the team and the company we have crafted over the years. I enjoy the fast-paced environment of merchant services and providing a level of service that cannot be matched in the industry. I am committed to making sure that your experience with TMC is one of Excellence! When I am not working on our business, you can find me hunting, fishing or working on a building project of some kind. Being outdoors, spending down time with my wife and my son energizes me and enables me to work more efficiently in the business. I love to get on the tractor and spend time improving our property (including having a killer garden).

Leadership Is an Inside Job
Welcome to our TMC family! When I was growing up, I did not think- ‘I would REALLY like to own and operate a credit card processing company’. I did however, KNOW I wanted to Lead something and be a business owner like my parents. Over the course of the last 30+ years I’ve learned that growing a business and a family has required lots of internal work.
We are all about personal growth and development here at TMC and we are now encouraging the businesses we serve to take a fresh look at enhancing their businesses with systems. Being involved with a dynamic group of dedicated individuals makes having PASSION for our business very easy! When I am not working on our business, I LOVE to speak and share with people, learn new things I can bring back to my team and more than anything, I love spending time with my family; I feel so very blessed. It is my heart’s desire that you find more than just a business partner here at TMC, that you find a company filled with individuals dedicated to assisting you find your PASSION in your own business and the tools needed to develop winning relationships!

TMC is Family
My parents started TMC the same year I was born so I pretty much grew up in the business. It is quite something looking back and realizing how much I learned and how much I actually remember from building the business with my parents. I always loved going with my Dad and delivering paper supplies while he installed the credit card machines. I also loved going with my Mom when she spoke to groups or tested cash advance terminals (I always got the dollars!!). Watching my parents work so hard and still find a way to make me feel like the most important aspect of their life was and still is my favorite part of TMC. People ask me if I will return to TMC and the truth is, probably not. Both my Mom and my Dad have encouraged me to pursue my passion and currently that is working as a heavy equipment operator. I really enjoy building something from the ground up- sort of like my parent’s business.
I do know that if I ever wanted to run my own business, I would call my parents for a merchant account AND lots of advice! Total Merchant Concepts is part of our family and I am so thankful to be part of it!

Life is a Garden, get out and smell the roses!
Relationships are crucial in the world of business just as they are in our personal lives. Having spent over 50 years in the business world and realizing the importance in this area, developing those trusted relationships with our Referral Partners and Merchants is my passion here at TMC. I believe one of the most important things we can do is to provide honest, helpful, and timely information to those we serve and maintain those valuable relationships.

On the personal side of life, I was married to my best friend and the love of my life for 49 years before he was called home. I am so very grateful for the time we had together, and for our family – Five awesome and successful kids, their spouses, twelve grandchildren, and one great-grandchild (with 2 more on the way). I have truly been blessed over the years.
In my off time, you might find me taking photographs of our beautiful Pacific Northwest, reading a good book, writing, doing medical or other research, or just going for a walk with my little Maltese Buddy. Life is a Garden, get out and smell the roses!

Helping YOU Reach YOUR Dreams!
Hello, my name is Alexandra but I prefer to be called Alex! I started in the credit card processing industry in 2007. I used to think I had a weird passion for merchant services (who is passionate about credit card processing), but I later discovered my passion is for people. As Zig Ziglar used to put it, “Selling is not something you do to someone; it is something you do FOR someone.”

I heard TMC was the best company to work for and I wanted to be a part of that. In an industry that is not known for honesty, I am proud to be part of TMC where our focus is on helping others and adding value to their lives, not hurting them! I get to talk to and meet people from all over the US and help them attain their dreams! I’ve been passionate about excellent customer service for as long as I can remember. My Papa says if you are going to do something, you might as well do it right. I miss the days of being able to pick up a phone and talk to someone, which is another reason why I am so proud to work for TMC. We definitely set the bar high for ourselves when it comes to providing excellent service!

When I am not with my TMC Family, I am spending time with my wonderfully amazing teenage son, Christian Michael! We play Magic the Gathering, and he beats me in chess 99% of the time. You can also find me hiking, playing softball, singing as loud as I possibly can, reading, or playing with my two dogs Matilda and Charlie. Thank you for visiting our page; I look forward to helping you reach your dreams!

Be Our Guest (from Beauty & the Beast)
Hello! I’m Bella. In 2002 I was hired as TMC’s second employee. It was amazing and began the foundation of what customer service should be. My son was born in Sept 2003, leaving TMC but staying in touch. In 2015, I decided to start a career since my boy entered middle school. I reapplied to TMC and was grateful for the opportunity to add to the amazing team that is here today. Now I help lead the sales team providing exceptional service.
What keeps me here? It is hard to believe I have been back for so many years. TMC adds more value to me personally, I cannot help but become a better person. I am so excited to continue the journey of adding more value to everyone I have the privilege to serve.
A bit more about me ?? I have been married since 1997, have a passion for cooking and sports but more specifically baseball. During baseball season my husband and I love watching our boy play and chase his dreams. He is inspiring as he builds his future. I love cooking and feeding people. I am often asked what I am good at making? It is not Lemon Chicken! I love taking random items out and creating something yummy.

Life’s a song
I have worked in a variety of Fields in my lifetime. Just to name a few, I was a McDonalds manger, flower arranger, barista, Gardener, Preschool music, and movement teacher and many more. You could say that I have enjoyed many types of work however, my PASSION is singing. I was singing before I could talk. Over time, I have found that there is a song for every situation. This passion comes from my mom who was a music teacher until she retired and even now still teaches private music lessons. Growing up, I was involved in school choruses, community musicals, and church choir. At the age of 14, I found Sweet Adelines through one of my moms’ friends. I fell in love with the very tight harmony that is acapella. Think Pentatonix but, 4 parts instead of 6. In the last few years, I received my director certification and recently started directing my own chorus. In addition to my love of singing, other activities I enjoy are; camping, Dancing, Gardening, photography and more.

I love working at TMC. There are so many opportunities to grow both professionally and personally. As a legendary service Specialist, I enjoy helping others smile. I am thankful every day that I get to wake up and come to work. This is the best place to be. I love my work family and look forward to many years to come!

It is essential to love what you do.

Hi my name is Kathy and I LOVE working for TMC. I have a background in Customer Service working for many different companies and in many different industries including Retail crafts, restaurants, Distribution Warehouses and in international shipping. I enjoy working with people to help solve issues, create and streamline processes, and provide support to allow for growth and increased knowledge.
In my free time, I love to spend quality time with my husband, whether we are fishing, metal detecting, going to garage sales, camping or just working around the house. My 3 grandchildren are the light of my life. I raise chickens and have two dogs, Blu and Walter, at home waiting to love my up when I walk in the door.
TMC offers so many different opportunities for personal growth, business growth, and chances to make a difference in the lives of the Merchants we serve. Becoming part of TMC is the best decision I have made both personally and professionally.
I believe it is essential to love what you do and who you do it with, but who you do it for is the most essential decision that you can make and I am grateful to work with my TMC family.

Passionately Pursuing Service
Hi, My name is Kari!! Spending time with my amazing family and being outdoors really fuels me. I enjoy watching my children explore their interests, spending time with my family finding ways to use my creative gifts. You can often find me taking a hike, going camping on the weekends or working on our home.

I am passionate about people and about completing tasks and projects in an excellent manner and that is one of the main reasons I love working here at TMC. Every time I talk to someone and learn about their business and their life, it gives me the opportunity to learn something new and expand my ability to serve. It also warms my heart to receive the generous feedback our merchants and vendors share on a routine basis.

I am a firm believer in doing what you love because life is too short and I LOVE working at TMC.

Prepare to be Wow’d!
My start with TMC, was as a customer. The service then, was as stellar as it is today. When my business closed in 2008, Cheri and I remained in touch as friends.

Today, I am a welcomed Marketing Team Partner within the TMC family. This brings me excitement and heightens my lifelong passion for coaching, training, and serving others.

Life is meant to be an adventure! My three children and some other folks sometimes think I take this a little too seriously; like when, I stop at a park with an enticing slide, a row of swings, or a wacky piece of play equipment I’ve “just got to try” (they eye roll). However, my two grandkids, love that I am excited over the little things in life, they are pure joy.

Did somebody say art? Painting, drawing, sewing, looming, duct tape, hot glue gun, fabric, staple gun, or whatever seems interesting, sign me up! If, I could do it all while being outdoors…I am pretty certain that is what Heaven is.

The TMC company atmosphere and the people here, add light to my day. I am looking forward to helping as many individuals, businesses, etc. get the enhanced TMC experience. “Come join us on an adventure! Prepare to be Wow’d!”

The Key to Success
Hi! My name is Ruby! I am new to the TMC team; however, I absolutely love the culture and the family that TMC has for all its employees, merchants, partners, and community members. The key to success of any business is the culture and the way in which the business treats everyone, and TMC completely encompasses these values. I am so glad that I decided to join my TMC team, and I am proud to call TMC my family.

My hobbies outside of TMC include drawing portraits, volunteering in my community, and going on long road trips with my friends and family. I simply always enjoy staring in awe at God’s creations – big and small. There is a folder in my pictures on my phone dedicated solely to sunsets. Life is so beautiful, and you simply must live every single second of it. My goal is to find the positive side to all situations, and find peace in the littlest of things.

LOVING life!
I am the proud owner of five dogs and one chinchilla, as well as an ever-growing collection of houseplants.
I’ve been a singer since the age of six when I sang in front of five thousand people for a Sweet Adeline’s International competition in Hawaii. I’ve been hooked on singing and performing ever since.
I was Homeschooled for most of my schooling career and graduated my freshman year of high school. After I graduated, I went to trade schools for Automotive technology and Cosmetology simultaneously. I graduated as an ASE certified entry-level technician and left with 1000 hours completed towards my Washington State Cosmetology license.
I now spend the majority of my days working on various art projects, going on road trips and adventures with my family, curating a never-ending pile of books, working with my lovely team at TMC, and LOVING life!

TMC changed my life!

I was 24 years in fast food service before coming here, working crazy hours and not having enough family time.

Now my life is so much better. I have a set schedule, and I can enjoy time with my family.

TMC gave me that! I am so blessed to have this opportunity and be part of this team. Let me correct myself; be part of this family. They support each other and help you grow day by day.

Dean and Cheri, the owners, have such a great company, and it’s all about integrity and just doing it right for their team and their merchants.

Nothing is impossible; the word itself says “I’m Possible”
Hi, my name is Cecilia and before working at TMC I worked long hours for about two years in a tire shop where I learned a little about customer service. Coming to work at TMC has allowed me to learn a lot more about customer service, and I have more time to spend with family and friends. I appreciate this opportunity to work with amazing people and am excited to see where my journey with this friendly and caring team at TMC takes me.

A little more about me. I love hanging out with my family! I have three nieces and three nephews who I love spending time with whenever I can. Cuddling with my two cats is another favorite pastime, but my FAVORITE thing to do is baking! I’m always looking for something new to bake, and I do love cooking too!

It was an easy connection coming to TMC. We have the same values and principles which are important for me to be in, at work and home. I was born and raised in Texas, then moved to Idaho when I was in 8th grade. I studied martial arts when I was 4 years old and later also taught classes. That is where my base of understanding integrity, excellent attitude, discipline, and dedication came into play. I also enjoy fishing as a sport. Bringing home, a nice big salmon to smoke on cherry wood is something that I love. I stayed in Idaho until I graduated from high school. Then I moved to California where I studied ministry where I developed leadership skills that helped fill my passion for serving others.
In 2019 I moved to Portland to continue my ministry passion one of my heroes of the faith name Reinhard Bonnke once said We are an opportunist, “We don’t wait for the opportunity we create them”. The Pacific Northwest is where I found my wonderful bride and was soon to be married in September 2020. We moved back to Idaho to help the family which is where my daughter, Promise was born.
Before working at TMC, my skills were developed with experience in managing, leading, and serving others. When I found TMC, they are everything I was looking for. I am excited to come to work every day, be a part of the team and learn something different every day but add to the skills I am trying to develop. Loving people is what I already do on a day-to-day basis and I didn’t know I could do that as a job and pay the bills. TMC has made a difference in my life and I look forward to giving that back to the people we serve each and every day.

Keeping Things FUN!
The TMC family has a strong foundation of business traditions and support. I feel being able to serve clients, in a positive and uplifting way, is key to excellent customer service. Everyone wants to be seen, heard and understood; especially when they are a customer in need. TMC rises to meet their needs!

Personally, I like to keep life fun and do so by being creative and experiencing nature. I’m currently passionate about illustration with painting and mixed media and I’ve rekindled my love of ceramics. I have a fondness for disc golf, which gets you hiking and playing a game of skill out in nature. Sometimes I will immerse myself into other games too. Whether they are boardgames or video games, I enjoy removing stress by diving into gameplay. As a gamer, I enjoy achievements and love even the smallest accomplishments.

My life partner Jenifer and I have enjoyed 7 years of loving, growing and learning from each other. We have a rescue Conure parrot named Pally, and a rescue Tibetan Poodle dog named Moksha.

Lead With Relationships
I love to read and learn!!! Anything that provides personal and professional growth enriches me. I am a learner for life!! My husband and I have been together for over 40 years and we have two wonderful sons, granddaughter and grandson!! We are a tight family who loves to travel and have fun. Relationships have always been important to me as life is a journey that meanders better with those you care about. I love home remodeling and working on our property to make it home!
I have been fortunate to have worked for some of the best companies, both locally and internationally. Nothing compares to working for Total Merchant Concepts!! My background is banking, finance, and accounting but I have also managed retail organizations and was a co-owner of a local fabrication shop. I am HUGE on integrity and I am thankful that the Perry’s and my fellow teammates have that same mindset!! My goal is to provide our merchants with a phenomenal customer service experience that helps them grow their business and realize their dreams. I have been blessed for work with and for The Perry’s for over 12 years. They have a gift for living their best lives and they inspire the team to do the same. I know you have heard everyone else say we are not just a team, we are a family. That feeling runs deep in our culture and we genuinely care for each other, our business owners, partners and vendors.
I look forward to serving you!

Customer Service Is An Entire Company!
Hello, I’m Sarah and I am so excited to be a part of TMC! I am looking forward to using my years in customer service to benefit our merchants and my co-workers. A quote that I love about customer service has really been embraced here at TMC is: “Customer service should not be a department. It should be the entire company.”―Tony Hsieh

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two boys. We enjoy camping, bike riding, and playing with our high energy dog.

Integrity Matters
Your true reputation is what people say about you when you leave the room. To most people, the evidence of success is seen as the type of car you drive, the house you live in, the size of your bank account, etc. To me a successful person has created a foundation of integrity built upon the bricks of honesty, hard work, patience, never-ending self-improvement, hope, courage, vulnerability, humility, compassion, self-reliance, love, personal responsibility, transparency, and faith. For over 27 years, TMC has been standing on a foundation that was built on these same bricks which I believe is why I have been partnered with TMC for over 15 years.

The fancy car, big house, boat, jewelry, and money can all be swept away in an instant, but a person’s reputation, character, and integrity cannot be taken away. It is this belief that fuels my drive to be a better man today than I was yesterday. I learned long ago to always be looking for ways to improve myself. I read books, listen to audio presentations, and attend seminars to help me go to the next level. I try to associate myself with people who are a few rungs higher than me on the ladder of success so that I am encouraged that I can get there and hopefully they will give me a helping hand on the way up.

In turn, I have dedicated myself to do the same for others. I enjoy helping people grow by adding value and encouragement to their lives. Working with an integrity based company allows me to build a strong foundation with our merchants creating long lasting relationships.

Whatever You Need!
Hello, and thank you for stopping by to learn a little more about Shannon Fry, TMC’s Administrative Superstar! With a title like that, you’re probably asking yourself, “What exactly does an ‘Administrative Superstar’ do all day?” right? The answer is: pretty much everything!!

Ultimately, we like to think of our Superstar as our team’s “Right Hand”. This is probably a good thing, as Shannon has a hand in so many areas of the company; customer service, equipment/inventory management, team & referral partner support, billing, management & operations support and really, most anything that comes along that needs attention. With her high analytical aptitude, she is often utilized as a second pair of eyes (this has nothing to do with the fact that she wears glasses!). She has a talent for finding typographical errors, sorting through to help decipher funding challenges on merchant statements, and really, she helps to make confusing things make sense!

Shannon has been managing small businesses throughout most of her life ~ at 12 years old, she spent her newspaper-route money to buy ponies to train and then sell to local loving families (truth be told, the paper route was pretty much in place to fund her pony habit). As time passed, she found that there was something special about small/family owned businesses ~ there is a sense of family and community that seems to get lost in the corporate world. With this in mind, Shannon strives to help small businesses grow and thrive! She’s worked with family run franchises as well as independently owned businesses and has found that so many business have untapped potential ~ her goal is to help as many small companies as she can, to excel beyond their wildest expectations!

On a more personal side, Shannon and her husband Tim were married back in 1996, and have two amazing children. She finds the ocean rejuvenating, enjoys camping, traveling, reading (a lot! ~ Seriously! Share the title of your favorite book with her - she would love to read it!), and has a passion for writing. She attends several workshops each year to continue feeding her arsenal of tools to help anyone she comes into contact with ~ whether it is lending an ear to listen to concerns, offering advice or helping to construct someone’s future to see their dreams come true.
She looks forward to a bright future of both personal & professional growth and finding ways to share her knowledge and experience with everyone!
